Your bad days. Your lamentations. Your anger. Your loneliness. Your doubts. Your faithlessness.
Ain’t these things taboo to Christians?
Thinking that when they occur, we upset Him or make Him less pleased in us.
That when we set foot in a “Christian” setting we gotta put up this “Everything’s Great Mask” because God is good.
But you’re actually dying inside.
To put on a mask in those moments?
Aren’t we forgetting the cross? That he can and that he has handled all of our bad days, lamentations, anger, loneliness, doubts, faithlessness.
Don’t belittle that divine sacrifice and love.
Mourn. He can handle it.
I’m having one of those days.. When I’m finding it hard to believe in You..
Please help me not forget in darkness, the things that I believe in light.
I’ve just got something to say.
